Brooke Stanley, mother of two boys and Wilkes County native, joined our staff in December 2014 and serves as our Client Services Director. She has attended both Wilkes Community College and Forsyth Tech where she majored in Human Services and was certified as an Activities Director.
Brooke has a great deal of experience in the social work field having spent many years working with senior citizens and most recently working with the homeless at the Hospitality House, a homeless shelter in Boone, NC. She has served as a volunteer with Wilkes Ministry of Hope for the past several years and is passionate about sharing the love of Christ with others as she advocates for those less fortunate. Brooke's greatest pleasure in her free time is spending time with her two boys and 3 rescue dogs.
My husband and I recently celebrated 19 years of marriage, and together we have two children, Austin 18, and 8 yr. old Katie. We are a close knit family that enjoys spending time together. I am a Wilkes Community College graduate earning my Associates Degree in Nursing. I have been a R.N. for 11 years, working 5 of those years on a fast paced medical/surgical floor at Iredell Memorial Hospital. After the birth of my daughter, I began praying for God’s direction concerning my career. I am honored to say He led me here and in March of 2012 I joined the staff of Wilkes Pregnancy Center. I am blessed to be a small part of such an amazing organization.
Miranda Harper joined our staff as Office Assistant in September 2015. She is the 2nd oldest of seven children and currently serves as a volunteer Fire Fighter for the Champion Fire Department. She loves all kinds of animals and has raised pigs, goats and chickens. Miranda loves the outdoors and hard work. She frequently volunteers with Samaritan's Purse in their Disaster Relief efforts most recently in South Carolina. Her long term goals include working on the mission field in a refugee camp, disaster relief and rescue or other areas in need of humanitarian aide.
