Who We Are

We exist to protect the sanctity of human life, especially life in the womb; to affirm women and men in their dignity as mothers and fathers; to promote a culture of life in our community.

Wilkes Pregnancy Care Center is a nonprofit, non-denominational, non-political organization committed to providing care, compassion, information and support to anyone facing pregnancy, whether planned or unplanned.

We have been serving Wilkes and surrounding counties since 1996 and are supported by our local community. We rely 100% on donations with funding received from local churches, businesses, individuals, clubs, and occasional grants. All services are Free and Confidential.

Mission Statement

To empower women and men with the tools necessary to make life-affirming decisions concerning pregnancy, parenting, and sexual health.

Statement of Faith

Adapted from the National Association of Evangelical’s Statement of Faith

  1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible authoritative Word of God.
  2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
  4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential, and that this salvation is received through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and not as a result of good works.
  5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and perform good works.
  6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. We believe the saved are resurrected unto life everlasting, and the lost are resurrected unto eternal condemnation.
  7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
